Ms. Diana Tyagi - Worli Seaface - Mumbai

I would like to introduce myself. My name is Diana Tyagi and other than being the proud franchise holder of Podar Jumbo Kids Worli Seaface I am also a proud mother of four energetic, adventurous and fun loving children aged between 8 – 3 years for whom thankfully, going to school is yet the highlight of their day.

ABOUT OUR FRANCHISEES

ABOUT ME

I am a law graduate from the University of Mumbai, however after the birth of my children, inadvertently, my law practice took a back seat and the bottles, nappies and burps took precedence. Many a times I have been questioned as to how I landed up in this profession and don’t I find it exhausting, balancing the work involved in running a house coupled with 4 kids and a school packed with tiny preschool goers ? In answer to that I have always maintained that I consider myself blessed by the Good Lord because the amount that we as adults can learn and implement from interacting with these tiny tots even the most prestigious of Universities often fail to teach. Their wild untamed spirit and unmatched zest for life, their ability to laugh at themselves, to fall get hurt and thereafter bounce back on their feet and of course their amazing multi tasking quality (ever tried munching on a sandwich in one hand, flying an aeroplane in the other and simultaneously managing to head a ball into the basketball net all at the same time and yet not get affected by the screams of an hysterical adult standing merely one foot away )These are valuable lessons I draw strength from !!!

The journey from the conception of the branch to its first anniversary, which is coming up around the end of 2006, has been totally smooth and a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The transition of being a prospective franchise to actually being one has been as smooth as a delivery conducted under epidural effect. I am able to vividly recall my first meeting with the lady at the helm of affairs – Ms. Swati Popat, Director, Podar Jumbo Kids. A lady, I have over time, come to recognize as being dedicated, efficient, possessing immense knowledge and experience in the field of education. A person who stands for and believes in the very principles she advocates to others and thus well deserves the respect she commands. The systematic and well planned curriculum laid out is aptly age related and perfectly justifies and explains why so often read that Ms. Popat is responsible for formulating the curriculum and is on the Advisory Board of so many prominent educational institutions. Parental involvement is of primary importance at Podar Jumbo Kids.

Even a busy or disinterested parent, is by force of his own interest compelled to partake in the school activities and eventually ends up getting interestedly involved in the methodology especially the unique mode of teaching with puppetry. Utilization of such novel techniques of combining music and puppetry only serve to make basic concepts more interesting and child friendly. The variety of monthly meets organized, coupled with puppet shows, involvement of grandparents in celebrating festivals is also well appreciated by all.Lastly, I wish I could say that in reality I was well aware of all these aforementioned qualities and thus decided to approach only Podar Jumbo Kids but I would be lying I would say so. Truthfully, all that I can say is that it is in reality, my good fortune that I have an opportunity to share a working relationship with such a capable and disciplined forum. The gain is mine in totality and the positive contribution that I have acquired to my life in my capacity as a franchise holder is invaluable. If I am in any manner remotely responsible in aiding to mould the character and shape the personality of these young tots then I consider myself lucky and this one lifetime worthwhile. Thank you Podar Jumbo Kids and Swati Maam for making all this possible.
